Our Story

It began as a childhood friendship when we were 11; a friendship that has taken us through some very happy and also very rough times.

Together we have been through extensive surgeries and medical treatments and have experienced firsthand the issues that so many women undergoing treatment have to face. For me it has been a challenging battle with ovarian cancer and Jami has lived with Crohn’s disease for over 35 years. We have been though the weight gain, weight loss and hair loss that many women experience with serious illness. We have also had to live with ports, pouches, stretch marks, chemotherapy and the challenging confidence issues that come with living with an illness. Our bodies read like road maps, or as we like to say, our warrior marks.

Needless to say, we know a thing or two about feeling vulnerable in a bathing suit.

Our Mission

As we celebrated our 50th birthdays together and moved into a new chapter of our lives, we decided it was time to use our collective experience to help women like us to feel stylish, comfortable and confident. From that goal, Bwell 11 and our Coverage You Control philosophy were born. We know what women go through in life.
